Clinton Camp Admits Defeat

Fri Mar 21, 2008 at 12:13:28 PM PDT

Hey there guys and gals. As I sat in my cubicle pretending to punch numbers but in reality was searching for some Richardson news I came across this little gem.

Apparently Penn has been claiming the Richardson endorsement of Obama was not a big deal. That his time had passed, etcetc.

Figuring all the spin had made Penn dizzy, I didnt do much but laugh at the idea. Well the idea seems to be contagious as the next blockquote will show, key line in bold for your viewing pleasure:

Clinton spokesman Jay Carson issued a statement saying the campaign respects Richardson, "but both of us have many great endorsers and the voters, not endorsers, will decide this election, and there are still millions of voters in upcoming contests who want to have their voices heard."

Update: For those who do not seem to get it, for the past week or more, the Clinton campaign has said this will be decided by superdelegates. Richardson is a superdelegate, and a major one. When they did not get him, they are all of a sudden back at the 'voters' deciding the race.
